The former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently took to Twitter to share his comments on the highly debatable incident that transpired at the 94th Academy Awards. The video clip of Hollywood star Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the gala show has circulated on social media and became viral.
Dutch Mantell comments on the incident
The veteran pro wrestler criticized how Chris Rock sold the slap and compared the incident with the angle between Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler. JTG also called it a work.
"Good morning you Jabronie marks without a life that don't know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks”
Whatever Hogan said 🤷🏾♂️
Long story short……

The Hollywood actor Will Smith was furious as he had stormed the Oscars stage. He smacked comedian Chris Rock across the face for joking about his wife, in a moment at Sunday’s gala that immediately went viral. The incident had stunned the viewers questioning if it had been scripted or genuine. However, it is still not clear.
Rock, presenting the best documentary prize with a short comedy routine, had cracked a joke comparing Jada Pinkett Smith’s tightly cropped hair to Demi Moore’s appearance in the film “G.I. Jane” and suggesting she appear in a sequel. In a moment that triggered awkward silence and confusion in the Dolby Theatre, Smith stepped up to Rock and slapped him. He returned to his seat alongside Jada and shouting swearwords.
“Keep my wife’s name out of your f*****g mouth,” yelled Smith, forcing the producers to bleep out several seconds of audio from the televised broadcast in the United States.
For those unaware, Jada Pinkett Smith, who is also an actress, suffers from alopecia and publicly revealed her diagnosis in 2018. It was also noted by The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg, in attendance that a tearful Smith needed to be “pulled aside and comforted” by Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry during a commercial break.
It is WrestleMania season and Mantell also suggested WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to book a match between Smith and Rock at WrestleMania 38.
OK that seals it. Just in time too. @VinceMcMahon and @peacockTV just booked @chrisrock vs @willsmith at WrestleMania 38. The biggest WM of all time. @wwe @rdore2000 @TheJimCornette @RealJeffJarrett
