It’s rumored that Ricochet’s WWE contract will expire in the summer of 2024, and recent reports suggest that he has informed WWE of his intention to leave the company once his deal concludes.
Although Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com initially reported that Ricochet hadn’t given official notice but had made up his mind, PWInsider.com now indicates that Ricochet’s final WWE appearance is expected to be on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW. It’s stated that Ricochet currently has no further dates scheduled with WWE unless he agrees to a new contract.
Contrary to Meltzer’s earlier report suggesting uncertainty about Ricochet’s departure, PWInsider asserts that multiple sources have confirmed Ricochet’s decision to leave WWE.
“Ricochet has not dates scheduled after tonight’s episode of Raw, and unless a complete 180 happens, it will be his last night with WWE.”
In a related development, Chad Gable’s contract, initially set to expire on June 7th, appears to have been extended slightly, as he was announced to compete at a WWE live event on June 15th. While negotiations between WWE and Gable are reportedly in their final stages, no official deals have been finalized as per PWInsider.
Despite interest from AEW, it’s expected that Gable will likely remain with WWE due to his current prominence on television. However, the situation is still evolving, and definitive decisions are pending.
