As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Apollo Crews finally turned heel on Big E after months of build-up. He attacked Big E with ring steps even after referees pleaded with him to not do that.
This took place following Apollo Crews losing his match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Following the vicious attack at the hand of Apollo Crews, Big E was carried out on a stretcher out of the arena and was then shown being loaded into an ambulance.
During Talking Smack, Kayla Braxton revealed that Big E suffered a brachial plexus injury. It was added that Big E was experiencing an “arm weakness”
As stated by the Mayo Clinic, the brachial plexus is:
“The brachial plexus is the network of nerves that sends signals from your spinal cord to your shoulder, arm and hand.”
It seems due to this injury, the Intercontinental Champion Big E will unlikely be appearing at WWE Elimination Chamber this Sunday.
Big E has been on the receiving end of a push eve since he was separated from The New Day after the WWE Draft last year. Since then he has been booked well as the Intercontinental Champion and is likely to become a main eventer eventually.
