Roman Reigns’ remarkable tenure as the Undisputed WWE Championship winner has transcended all bounds. The Head of the Table has been rising since his return at Summerslam 2020, achieving some of the most incredible triumphs and daunting obstacles of his career.
Roman Reigns is now the World Champion and appears to be the closest person to break Bruno Sammartino’s record for the longest-reigning champion ever, having held the title for almost 1300 days. Even though the Tribal Chief is still at the top, he is once again facing one of the greatest obstacles of his professional life. WrestleMania 40’s main event features Reigns defending his championship against Cody Rhodes, a fan favorite.
The odds are in favor of Rhodes to win the title and Roman Reigns might not go any farther as the champion. WWE recently released the A&E Biography: WWE Legends episode for Roman Reigns where the Tribal Chief hinted at retirement following the Grandest Stage of them All.
Reigns has stated that he wouldn’t stay any longer if he wasn’t the top guy in the company. He also urged the fans to cherish the beautiful moments of him as a champion because he wasn’t going to be there if he lost the title.
“You guys better cherish these moments cause once I lose the WWE Undisputed championship, I’m calling it quits.”
