WWE’s Biggest Star Returns At Money in the Bank

Brock Lesnar’s return is expected to happen very soon as the rivalry with Cody Rhodes is seemingly set to continue. It was at WWE Night of Champions over one month ago when we last saw Brock Lesnar. That was the night when Lesnar faced Cody Rhodes for the second time.

Cody Rhodes is set to face Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank, and that match has a lot of potential. That being said, Brock Lesnar isn’t finished with Rhodes at all, and SummerSlam is their planned destination.

WRKD Wrestling tweeted out to reveal that Brock Lesnar is planned for Money in the Bank. He will be in the O2 Arena, and that will set up a new contest with Cody Rhodes, a gimmick match for SummerSlam.

“Brock Lesnar is expected to appear at Money In The Bank to set up a third, gimmick match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.”

When Lesnar and Rhodes met for the first time at Backlash on May 6th, Cody got the win by countering a Kimura Lock as he leaned forward and was able to pin Lesnar to the mat for a three count.

Going into Night of Champions on May 27th, Lesnar had weakened Cody by targeting his left arm by using weapons and also applying the Kimura Lock. Despite the attacks by Lesnar, Cody was determined to compete that night with a black cast/brace on his left arm. Lesnar was aggressive in his attacks and made Cody pass out while in the Kimura Lock, which gave Lesnar the victory. There is a possibility that Lesnar will attack Cody during the match and cost him the win against Dominik.
