Nikki Cross was called up from NXT and for a while, she was largely neglected by WWE, but now it seems she is finally getting a push.
Nikki Cross is currently engaged in an angle with Alexa Bliss and according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this particular angle with Bliss will see Cross getting a huge push.
Meltzer said that the current plan is for Nikki to be the babyface who ”deserves it” and eventually feud with Alexa. Basically, Bayley was in the original big babyface role, but they went too far with her and are unable to go back, so Nikki will be the babyface and Bayley will have a different gimmick.
