WWE Comments On One NXT Diva Allegedly Posting Racist Remarks On Twitter

Update: WWE has issued the following statement to us:

“WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi’s (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old.  Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made.”

Original: Nhoop Al-Areebi, who was signed to WWE back in March and has been working in NXT, is the latest WWE talent who had past racist posts on her social media accounts discovered from someone on Reddit.

Al-Areebi has since deleted her Twitter account, but of course screenshots are circulating, which you can see below. She directly uses the N-word along with variations on the word in posts made in 2012 when she was only seventeen at the time.

Areebi works under the name Jasmin in NXT. She has been competing regularly at NXT live events and has been on NXT television once since signing her developmental contract.

WWE as yet to comment on the matter.
