Batista hints at possible WWE return

Batista hangs out with former WWE champion.

WWE has many superstars from the past that they can bring back for pure nostalgia, however, few are in the shape that Batista is. Batista was present on the 1000th episode of Smackdown as part of the Evolution reunion. There, he teased a match as well. Now it seems that he made another big tease on his social media.

Yesterday was The Animal’s 50th birthday. There were plans for Batista to face Triple H at Wrestlemania, as was teased on Smackdown 1000. However, due to Triple H suffering a pec injury, that match might not happen.

Batista responded to a tweet from WWE wishing him a happy birthday, which also included a video that showcased all of Batista’s accomplishments in the company. Then Batista hinted at a possible return to WWE.

“You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. So perhaps we might be seeing The Animal at the Royal Rumble match. We will have to wait and see what happens.

Well in Smackdown 1000 the fans regretted it and welcomed back Batista with open arms

I have been a fan of Dave Batista since 2005, i say let him have his moment, as far as Royal Rumble, i’m not sure if he enters

  • The Random Reader

I don’t care what haters think if they do, i have been a fan of Dave Batista since 2005, i say let him have his moment, i don’t know if will enter the Royal Rumble

  • Depends on if Roman is in the same ring with them.

I wonder if we’d get a chorus of boos if Batista, the Rock and Hogan all entered the rumble, AND were in the ring at the same time… just a thought.

I think this is a better time for his return last time. If there is 1 person who Brock Lesnar never face it is Batista. I don’t know if it will Batista vs Brock Lesnar but yes I do believe Batista will return at the Royal Rumble.

Not just bad timing, but bad booking too. He should never have been booked as a baby face, and he did not want to be booked as a baby face himself.

I don’t think WWE screwed him with the DB thing intentionally, but they were just too damn stubborn and would not listen to Batista when he said he should return as a heel.
They were banking on him getting the traditional huge pop that a returning star gets, but due to how he returned and when he returned, the fans were not going to accept him in the way WWE thought.
Had WWE listened to Batista, who said he wanted to return as a heel, he could have been booked a hell of a lot better.

Yeah, he really got the short end of the stick there. Just bad timing for him due to DB’s huge rise in popularity at the time.

I was a Batista fan, so I wouldn’t mind him showing up every once in awhile. I think WWE really screwed him over the DB thing.
