Current WWE Superstars reveal they almost signed with Impact Wrestling

WWE Superstars Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows collectively known as The Club recently sat down with WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin for his podcast.

During the interview, the duo talked about how going to NJPW brushed up their skills and Anderson revealed that they almost signed a deal with Impact Wrestling before signing with WWE.

According to him, they wanted to get back to America somehow and they almost signed with WWE’s rival promotion but they got contacted by their current employers in the same month:

“I remember when Gallows came [to NJPW] and the way we clicked over there, and I said, ‘man, we really, we’ve got to get into America somehow.’ Do you know what I mean? We almost went to TNA. Thank goodness WWE called in the same exact month, but I mean, we knew we had to do something. I wanted to get over here. WWE is the place to be. It’s the place we wanted to be. I wanted that exposure finally.”

Apart from this, Anderson also talked about how a sponsor of his has spent $300,000 on him over 8 years and more.
