Via Pro Wrestling Sheet, it seems that Impact Wrestling has had enough of Alberto El Patron, as the company has terminated his contract as of today. Impact’s official statement:
IMPACT Wrestling announced today that it has terminated its agreement with Alberto El Patron, effective immediately.
The news comes a day after Patron no-showed the Impact vs Lucha Underground event yesterday, where he was scheduled to be a part of the main event tag team match. Patron was also scheduled to face Austin Aries for the Impact World Championship at Impact’s upcoming PPV Redemption.
Patron has yet to release a statement on the matter and has been absent from social media since April 5th.
