Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat match tonight, attempting to dethrone the Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic captured the title back at WWE TLC on December 16th, 2018.
In less than thirty days, Ambrose would lose his title to the Almighty Bobby Lashley. This was Lashley’s first championship win in the WWE in seven years. It looked like Rollins was going to finally reclaim the belt, as he had Ambrose set up for the Curb Stomp.
However, Lio Rush pulled down the ropes as he ran into them, sending the Architect crashing to the ground. This allowed Lashley to lay out Ambrose with a vicious spear, giving him his first Intercontinental Championship.
