Wrestlemania is only a few months away and WWE is trying to make it as memorable an event as possible by making a card that is sure to excite fans.
AJ Styles losing his WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan on Smackdown was definitely unexpected and surprised many. However, it might have something to do with WWE’s plans for him at Wrestlemania.
On Barnburner‘s No Holds Barred podcast, Joe Peisich noted that AJ Styles opponent for Wrestlemania might be none other than Randy Orton. This could turn out to be a very interesting match, as we never saw the two compete on a grand stage like Wrestlemania.
It is to be noted that AJ Styles’ contract will expire shortly after Wrestlemania. So it is definitely an interesting time.
It is still uncertain whether Randy will end up being AJ’s opponent. Perhaps plans might change, as they usually do in WWE. We will know for sure in good time.
