Title match added to Royal Rumble, Updated match card

Bobby Roode Smackdown

WWE announced recently that the newly crowned United States Champion Bobby Roode will be defending his Championship during the kickoff show of Royal Rumble PPV in the first ever Glorious US Open Challenge.

While his opponent hasn’t been revealed yet it’s speculated that Dolph Ziggler could make his return during the show and challenge the former NXT Star.

Apart from this a couple of more matches including The Revival vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and a 6 men tag match between Cruiserweight Stars have also been added to the show.

After all these announcements below is the updated match card for the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday:

    Not quite sure of the logic behind Dolph returning to challenge for the US title. That would make him walking away from it pointless. For his return to make any sense, he needs to come back and go straight after the WWE title as in his mind that is the only title worthy of him. He obviously did not consider the USA title that special in the angle.
