WWE Legend Has Suffered Multiple Strokes

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has had a legendary career in WWE and remains to be one of the greatest voices in the commentary booth. Well, recent reports state that he has allegedly suffered a minor stroke.

Following a stroke last year and subsequent paralysis, Jerry Lawler has been on his road to recovery. He has also undergone double knee surgery. Fans are now concerned about Lawler’s well-being.

During a recent episode of “Story Time With Dutch Mantell,” Mantell was asked about Jerry Lawler’s condition following the stroke. Mantell claimed that he had heard Jerry Lawler suffered a minor stroke within the last month.

“I heard he had another one, a minor one, but he did have another one within the last two or three weeks, I heard, or it may have been a month. But there must have been not a lot to it.”

Back in September 2012, Lawler had a heart attack at the announcer’s table and was given CPR, with updates being given throughout the broadcast. He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent an angioplasty. Fortunately, despite having a slow recovery, the legend made his comeback to both broadcasting and the ring for the WWE.

Lawler has not been featured on a WWE TV broadcast for over a year, but he still has a legends deal that allows him to work with the organization on merch and other licensing. Despite his departure from the broadcast team, Lawler has a great relationship with the company. He was even backstage at SmackDown in Memphis in March.
