I got front row center ring tickets so my view was fantastic. As we were sitting and waiting for the show to start, it turned out Sheamus has huge heat by all under 10. It was reported that John Cena was not at this house show.

1. Chris Masters defeated Carlito via masterlock at 6:55. A fun match. The crowd loved the comedy. The in-ring action was above average. Carlito played to one guy saying, “You suck,” and replied to him, “I heard you, but I’m in a match.” The finish came after Carlito elbowed was reversed into a Master Lock.

2. Primo defeated Alex Riley in 6:07. Primo kept the crowd alive. Alex did a promo on Forrest Gump, which gave him some heat. The finish came from a kick combo from Primo

2. Goldust and Yoshi Tatus defeated Barrera and Croft in 9:49. My mom loved this match. After Goldust made the hot tag, Yoshi hit his buzz saw for the three.

3. Evan Bourne pinned Jack Swagger in 10.51. Good match. Both workers tried their best and hit their “vintage” moves. Fun match.

4. The Miz demolished MVP. At this point, my stopwatch was dead. MVP immediately topped Bourne as a fan favorite. Miz cut a prematch promo on how we hated him before he talked even though he said “I’ll wait” when boos first arose. A fun match. Miz won with the SCF.

5. Melina, Kelly Kelly, and Gail Kim defeated Maryse, Alicia Fox, and Katie Lea Burchill in a Santa’s helper match. Santino Marella was the referee. He made a great ref, telling every detail like, “She tagged so you leave now and you don’t get on ropes.”

Intermission

7. Kofi Kingston defeated Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes in a handicap match. Fun match. Ted ignored me saying his movie sucked. Decent action with Ted keeping heat throughout the match and Kofi providing high flying action that excited the crowd. At the end, Kofi hit TIP for the win.

The guy who gives new meaning to paper champion Sheamus made an open challenge, which mark Henry accepted.

8. Sheamus defeated Mark Henry to retain the WWE Championship. Good back and forth action that kept the crowd alive. The finish came after a World Strongest Slam was reversed into a DDT. Sheamus followed with the big boot for the pin.

9. Triple H defeated Big Show in a street fight. Big Show played well with the crowd. For example one guy told him to brush his teeth. Show responded, “At least I got some, hick.” The match was fun with good spots. The finish came when Hunter ducked a knockout punch and hit Show with a sledgehammer shot followed by the 1-2-3.

Misc. Facts

Mark Henry’s mouth bled during his match. Jillan gave away front row seats.

Big Show laughed when trying to look serious in a standoff with a Triple H, then I said “Knuckle Heads” is gonna suck. He chuckled, but tried hiding it.
