The Rock has been announced for an appearance at this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and a lot of people have been wondering if his upcoming appearance would lead to any future storyline and even a possible return to the ring.
One star people believe The Rock could face if he does return to the ring is none other than his cousin brother Roman Reigns. During a recent YouTube video published on GQ Sports’ channel, Reigns answered a question regarding a possible future match with the Great One.
Roman implied that he is open to the possibility of facing the People’s Champion if it’s done right but also expressed his doubts about whether or not The Rock can make time for the bout:
“If it’s done right, I think, obviously with the star that he is, where he is in his career, it would be huge. It would be great. But, you know, we’re family, so it has to make sense. And free the guy up. Can we get him a break? Can he take a day off? If he can get a week off we might be able to make it happen. So… doubtful.”
