The #SpeakingOut movement saw several wrestlers from various promotions being called out for sexual misconduct. This included the likes of Jack Gallagher, who was released by WWE due to the allegations against him. Now he has broken his silence on the matter.
Gallagher changed his name on Twitter to Jack Claffey. He took to Twitter and publicly addressed the allegations given against him back in June. Gallagher revealed he does not recall too much about that night as he was inebriated.
He revealed that following the allegations, he was contacted by WWE’s Head Of Talent Relations. He revealed what he recalled from that night and then was informed that it was a breach of the company’s ethics policy. Following this, he was fired from the company.
He made it clear that having alcohol did not excuse him from his behavior. He said the event that took place six years ago was an “isolated incident” and is not an indication as to how he behaves with women in general.
