An Impact Wrestling talent who took part in the latest tapings of the company has tested positive for coronavirus, according to reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
While the wrestlers were not told who tested positive, the talent is said to be part of a group of stars who are tight with each other and travelled together.
Several stars were told that they needed to get checked after the positive test came in but not all the stars were informed and the report says that the members of the locker room were upset that they had to find out about it through backstage gossip.
A star also discussed the backstage environment in the company saying that they feel that the company officials are being irresponsible with coronavirus testing.
It’s worth noting that Impact is the only major promotion not doing any COVID-19 testing. They have only been doing temperature checks till now and we will have to see if the latest positive test changes their approach.
