WWE are handing out flyers detailing the return of Bray Wyatt as The White Rabbit in the parking lot outside the arena in Philadelphia for Extreme Rules.
While Bray Wyatt will be pushed with his return, Mustafa Ali has been held down for a long time. Many fans of WWE agree that Mustafa Ali has been held down for much too long. The Ali fans might not have to wait much longer for Mustafa to wear the title.
Last year, Vince Russo sat down with Billi Bhatti on ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’ and spoke about Mustafa Ali. Ali and Russo recently feuded on Twitter over Russo suggesting he do a racist cop character.
Bhatti: “I got such s*** when I said that Ali was supposed to be Kofi Kingston. I said that for the Saudi (Arabia) shows, and because of the deal with Saudi (Arabia) they had promised that they would push Saudi (Arabian) talent.”
Bhatti continues: “Mustafa Ali was supposed to be the WWE champion. I was ripped to pieces for this story, like, when I said it! Now, if you look to the TV there is a storyline going on where Ali is saying to Kingston ‘You took my spot in the Elimination Chamber,’ and he did because Ali was supposed to beat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35.”
Bhatti closes this segment with stating: “No one that would go to their keyboard and scream insults that ‘I was a joke’ and all this kind of stuff never came back around and said ‘Oh, wow, this story was correct’.”
