Roman Reigns ‘Turns Down’ Match With Raw Star

Dave Meltzer posted on F4WOnline.com forums about Roman Reigns turning down working with Damian Priest before WrestleMania when writing about Priest working with Bad Bunny. The Miz has a huge rumored WrestleMania match.

A fan wrote, “This is two matches in a row where Garza, a guy who has mostly been on Main Event for months now, was giving Priest a hard time. AND two matches in a row where a distraction by BAD BUNNY had to give Priest help to win.

I don’t see how this helps Damian in the long run.”

Meltzer responded, “Priest wouldn’t even have a spot. Their idea was him as Owens’ best friend but Owens and Reigns both didn’t like it. But selling for Angel Garza in a match he won clean with his move is non-issue. I should hope everyone sells for their opponents.”

A fan posted, “Well it goes back to the other argument with you and Bryan.

Garza is a nobody. I’m told he’s a nobody and never see him cause he mostly fights on Hulu. So I’m sorry but Priest, as of right now, should not be selling for Garza.

If he was fighting like, Ricochet or Lee I’d get that. Cause they still get some sort of significant airtime. But not Garza. He’s been a nobody since Andrade and Zelina disappeared.”

Meltzer responded, “Nobody will remember any of this. They only see a guy who is featured, will be in a real program at Mania and it’s his booking after Bad Bunny leaves that will tell the difference, none of this. Right now they are doing everything to get Bad Bunny over, that’s the goal. If not, Priest would be in limbo after Kevin Owens turned down being his best friend.” Roman Reigns brought back a top WWE star as a writer.
