Big Show, aka Paul Wight, and Chris Jericho discussed ‘bully’ Vince McMahon stories on Talk is Jericho. MIBER3 recapped the stories on the Squared Circle Reddit.
Paul tells stories about spending time with Vince on WWE’s trips to the Middle East, which he says was refreshing because he got to spend time with Vince “the guy” rather than Vince “the chairman of the board.” “Like, Vince will step on your shoe and say ‘Flat tire,’ I mean, what are we in 8th grade?”
He also talks about Vince short-sheeting his bed, and turning up the heat in his room. “You know, cause I hate being hot. So we’re gone all day, we come back that night, I walk into my room – it’s hot in the desert and I’m ready for this ice-cold room – and it’s 100 degrees. And he walks by, ‘Is there something wrong with your heater, pal?'”
Paul tells another story about setting up an air mattress on a flight, because he didn’t fit well in the chairs. “I get to sleep about an hour – you start to get that real comfortable sleep, the sleeping bag’s over you – you’re good. All of a sudden [air leaking sounds].. I look up, ‘Something happen to your mattress, pal?’ [laughing] Like, he’s such a bully.”
