Bo Dallas, the former NXT Champion and brother of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt was one of many talents released by WWE today. Dallas was included on a list that included other noteworthy names including Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Mickie James, and others. In an update regarding the status of Dallas, Fightful Select is reporting that Dallas had been backstage during some recent editions of WWE Smackdown. However, he did not factor into any plans that WWE creative had whatsoever. In addition, Dallas also attended WWE WrestleMania 37 to participate in a test matchup while WWE tested out their setup in Tampa Bay, Florida. He got to reunite with his real life brother Bray Wyatt backstage. Wyatt’s follower, Alexa Bliss just reacted to the news of Bo being released.
It was also wildly speculated that Dallas could be the one that was portraying the Fiend during the buildup to WWE WrestleMania 37 and potentially at the event itself due to a size difference. However, Fightful is also confirming that this is absolutely not the case and Bo Dallas had no involvement playing the character of the Fiend whatsoever. Dallas’ real life brother, Bray Wyatt was indeed the one who faced Randy Orton during WrestleMania 37’s night two event and subsequently lost. Dallas hasn’t been seen on WWE television since 2019, last appearing for the company during that year’s ‘Crown Jewel’ pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia.
