WWE Bring Back Star After ‘Pedophile’ Accusation

Velveteen Dream made his return to NXT last August but several fans were upset at his return, due to the paedophile allegations made against him during the #SpeakingOut movement. Triple H said WWE did not find any evidence to prove the allegations against him during the investigation. #FireVelveteenDream made its rounds on Twitter last year as well. Velveteen Dream has not been seen on WWE television for several months. He was accused of inappropriate messages with an underage male, but denied any claims.

However, now it seems an interesting development recently took place. According to Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, Velveteen Dream was present backstage on Monday Night RAW this week.  It is not known why he was present there but it might be setting up Velveteen Dream making his main roster debut in the future.

Velveteen Dream is backstage at Raw. No idea if he’s there for the show, but he hasn’t been around of late.

Velveteen Dream has not had a televised match in NXT since December 23, 2020, when he was defeated by Adam Cole. In fact, Dream has lost his last four matches on the Black and Gold Brand.  Triple H also had this to say regarding the allegations:

“There’s really nothing to add with Velveteen Dream. We’ve gone over it a million times. Status update – he’s still training.

“He had a little bit of a physical thing here for a bit. But, still there, still with us, still PC, still training, still on the roster.”
