Aleister Black was among the several stars who were released today by WWE. It included the likes of Braun Strowman, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett.
Aleister Black opens up on the release
WWE has been releasing stars since the outbreak of pandemic and it was done due to the ‘budget cuts’.
Tommy End (Aleister Black) spoke about his release on Twitch. Black was told on his firing phone call the reason for his release was ‘budget cuts’. Apparently the budget has been cut short since last year. WWE Raw Stars ‘Wanted’ To Get Released?
Ryan Satin noted that Black was thankful to Vince McMahon, Triple H, Bruce Prichard, Paul Heyman and others in WWE for the opportunities they gave him. He also said that Roman[Reigns] is a great locker room leader.
The former WWE SmackDown star had said he was clueless where things were going with his character and the return. All he knew was that it was supposed to begin this Friday on SmackDown.
He further spoke on wrestling journalists, it seemed like he was taking a jibe at sites like Fightful who have premium services.
He said:
“Don’t waste your money on it. It’s 5% truth, 95% fiction. I get it, negativity sells but oh, sign up to my patreon for news about Thea – there is no news. It’s bullshit and damaging.”
Black also revealed that they had created a new entrance theme for his return that he said was even better than the one he had before. We will see what is next for Black.
