WWE recently released several stars from the company due to the budget cuts. Some of the names came upon as a surprise in the list. It included the likes of former WWE Universal Champion Strowman, Aleister Black,who recently made his return, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett.
WWE stars wanted their release?
Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast opened up on the recent releases by WWE. He revealed that some of the above mentioned stars had requested their release. It was WWE who took a different approach towards it. Lana WWE Paycheck Before Firing Leaks.
He wrote:
“Some of these names are people who were looking to get released.”
WWE has taken a very different approach when it comes to this.”
The release of Braun Strowman and Aleister Black was very surprising for the fans. Strowman had been a top star during his stint on SmackDown as well as Raw. Vince McMahon ‘Selling’ WWE To Big Name?
He had been in the championship picture and worked as a top-tier talent. While, Aleister Black recently made his comeback. He was slated to get a major push and had returned with a new gimmick. He was also involved in a feud with the former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Big E.
