Fans watching WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view event tonight got a unwelcome development as Peacock’s stream suffered through technical difficulties for a good chunk of the event. This affected a majority of the WWE universe. It is being reported that the issues are now taken care of the stream is now working as normally intended. Peacock also had issues during last month’s Hell in a Cell event. Pat McAfee said Edge’s eyes were ‘fluttering like Peacock’ during the main event.
Fans took to the ever popular squared circle reddit to discuss the issues with Peacock during tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.
Dundore77 vented: “Sucks this is happening. First time i ever had any issue with peacock. Downdetector shows somethings happening. People acting in this thread like wwe network never shit itself either. This stuff happens. Just literal worst timing.”
While fellow Reddit user almostbobsaget proclaimed: “I ended up cancelling my ad free version of Peacock based solely on that issue. They’ve had months to iron out streaming issues with WWE live content and the thing craps out at possibly the most important moment of the return to live crowds.”
In addition, redheadredshirt said: “Mine died basically at the beginning of the Charlotte/Ripley match and never recovered. Really debating demanding a refund for the month as Network is all I have Peacock for.”
Peacock has resolved the issue. Users may need to exit and re-enter the stream.
