WWE has been dealing with the virus for quite some time. It has now been noted that several WWE talents were pulled from Sunday’s house shows in Tampa and New York City due to an outbreak in the company. Seth Rollins previously confirmed that he tested positive for the virus. He had announced that he is off the post-holiday show in New York City because of the virus. Rollins is one of several WWE stars pulled from tonight’s show at Madison Square Garden.
WWE changes plans for WWE RAW
With WWE holding a live Monday Night Raw event tonight, the company will have to make changes to the script due to a number of wrestlers not being able to be at the show whether that is because they tested positive or they were exposed to someone who has the virus.
Pwinsider.com reports the Producers have been hit hard with the virus. Usually, there are a dozen of Producers at a Raw event, but tonight, WWE is down to half of that number, which will increase the workload for those agents who have been cleared to be there.
Montez Ford has been cleared for in-ring action as he made his return at Sunday’s MSG event so the Mysterios vs. Street Profits bout to determine the new #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles will take place on Raw. Veer Mahan, Apollo Crews, and Commander Azeez have also been spotted in Detroit, the site of tonight’s Raw, so they will be backstage at the show and could appear on the broadcast.
