Ronda Rousey Disrespects WWE Announcer Backstage

Becky Lynch is still one of the most popular female WWE Superstars in recent memory. The Man’s meteoric rise to Superstardom back in 2018 is well documented. It propelled her career to the absolute top, which culminated in her winning both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35, defeating both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the main event of the Show of Shows. She is also engaged to WWE Superstar Seth Rollins and the two welcomed their baby girl Roux in December of last year. Becky Lynch’s WWE SummerSlam return plans were leaked as well.

Former UFC Star and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has not been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35, where she lost her title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match in the main event of the pay-per-view, which also featured Charlotte Flair. Ronda Rousey’s return date was also previously confirmed.

Ronda Rousey’s original WWE contract has already expired. As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract was set to expire back in April. It is likely the company extended it somehow as the belief is that she will be returning to the company someday.

It was then recently revealed that Ronda Rousey was expected to make her return during this year’s Royal Rumble Premium Live event. Ronda Rousey came back and won the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Ronda Rousey spoke in a backstage interview and made sure fans knew she wanted to make a statement with her win. She took a shot at Sarah Schreiber’s question and took potshots at her multiple times during the interview.

“Yeah, it is. I mean, it’s the statement I wanted to make. I don’t know, that wasn’t a question at all, that was a statement.

I’m going to go back to my bus and love on my baby and that’s the only thing I care about right now, my priorities have changed.”
