WWE Police Call After Star Murder Rumor Leaks

WWE Money In The Bank is one of the exciting Premium Live Events of WWE. This year’s edition is right around the corner. However, WWE tweaked the strategy for the event during the pandemic in 2020. The match had a cinematic approach and it took place at the global headquarters building in Stamford. It had a new “Corporate Ladder” gimmick where the match’s titular briefcases were suspended above a ring on the building’s roof. They had to start the matches on the ground floor and fought their way to the roof in order to reach the briefcase.

Otis ultimately won the match after defeating AJ Styles, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, and Rey Mysterio. During the math, fans witnessed how Corbin seemingly threw Mysterio off the roof.

Happy Corbin reveals how police were summoned after the incident

Corbin spoke about the incident during an appearance on Mornings with Matt and Bob. Corbin claimed that it was one of the craziest Money in the Bank matches, stating that “someone legit called the police that [Corbin] murdered somebody.” He went on to explain why he threw Mr. 6-1-9 off the WWE HQ.

“I got it in my head, ‘Well, if [Rey is] one of the greatest ever, let’s see if he can fly’,”

Corbin and Mysterio have been not been included in this year’s ladder match yet. Corbin is currently involved in a feud with Madcap Moss. They ignited a feud recently with Moss getting the better off Corbin. It was Moss who had the ‘last laugh’ recently after he defeated the former WWE United States Champion. Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre and Omos have been confirmed for the ladder match with four more stars are yet to be announced.
