The former WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon was recently named the interim CEO And Chairwoman after Vince McMahon stepped down from his duties. It comes after Vince got entailed in a controversial matter. The Wall Street Journal recently unveiled that WWE is investigating a secret $3 million settlement paid to a former employee of Mr. McMahon. The probe has also scooped several claims of misconduct from former employees toward The Chairman and top executive John Laurinaitis. Stephanie also sent a message after taking up the duties. It has come to light that there was a meeting when Steph addressed the situation regarding Vince.

PWInsider recently reported that there was an “all hands on deck” company meeting yesterday and the Vince McMahon situation was addressed by his daughter, Interim WWE CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie said that everyone is aware that the Board of Directors is investigating her father and that he has “stepped back.” Stephanie added that she loves her father and loves WWE and will do everything she can for the company in the days ahead. There has also been speculation that Stephanie is in the top role now.
PWInsider reported that she has been actively involved in meetings that would have usually seen Vince involved so she appears to be legitimately in charge. In addition, WWE filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday to notify about the change in the company structure from Vince to Stephanie.
It was only last month that Stephanie had announced she would be taking a leave of absence from WWE, stepping down from her role as Chief Brand Officer, and now she has been thrust into the most powerful position in the company. Stephanie McMahon had made a shocking announcement when she let the pro-wrestling world that she is taking a hiatus.
