Alexa Bliss recently revealed an idea that she had for her character upon her return to WWE TV earlier this year. Bliss had been away from WWE programming for some time. She was featured in several ‘Therapy sessions’ on RAW and she had returned to in-ring action at Elimination Chamber 2022 premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She failed to win the Women’s Elimination Chamber match and was written off the programming. She recently introduced her old ‘Goddess’ gimmick upon her recent return but continued to carry Lilly.
Alexa Bliss talks about an idea
Bliss recently made her return to on-screen programming and defeated Sonya Deville in a 40-second match on an edition of Monday Night RAW after a three-month absence from television. Bliss recently chatted with Metro about her therapy sessions. She revealed that she had a different idea for her character’s return, wanting to return as a scarier version of herself. The idea didn’t make it to TV:
“For the therapy stuff, it was an idea that I had going one way, and WWE had going another way and so we collaborated. It turned into the therapy that you saw on TV. I wanted to originally come back as something more evil and more dark and more scary, but WWE had other plans.”
Alexa Bliss had showcased her sinister side while being associated with ‘The Fiend’ gimmick of former WWE star Bray Wyatt. While, ‘Little Miss Bliss’ has faced several female stars in the company, she claimed that the victory against the multi-time World Champion is the one she loves to cherish
Bliss had recently competed in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. It was Liv Morgan, who walked out as the winner, defeating Lacey Evans, Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch. Morgan then cashed in on Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank and became the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.
