AEW’s Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh sent an email to WWE’s Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon warning them “not to tamper” with Tony Khan’s talent, PWInsider.com reports Khan stated at a talent meeting before AEW Dynamite.
Triple H is EVP of Talent Relations and Head of Creative. ‘The Game’ has already started making some changes to the roster. Bayley made her return to the company after injury, while Io Shirai and Dakota Kai have been signed back with the company. Karrion Kross, who was released has been brought back as well. Johnny Gargano is the latest star to sign back with WWE.
It turns out Hunter is eyeing to add some more talents under his regime even if it’s an AEW star. That could be NXT UK talents as well. Hit Row stable also recently returned on SmackDown after it was previously reported. Three members of The Hit Row – Top Dolla, B-Fab and Ashante Adonis returned. It is believed that Hunter will also make some signings for backstage roles as well. Now, another former NXT star has been rumored for a return to the Stamford-based company.
Triple H might sign by Bronson Reed
WWE has discussed various names about bringing back. While speaking on the latest edition of ‘We’re Live Pal’, Andrew Zarian reported that he has heard that Jonah, formerly known as Bronson Reed in WWE, is a name that has been brought up about the company bringing back. Reed was among the wrestlers to be released by WWE last summer. His release came as a surprise as he had been pushed as a regular in NXT. He had also worked dark matches on the main roster that led to speculation of his main roster. However, he was let go by the company.
He noted:
“I’ve heard one name over the last few weeks and that’s Jonah. Great G1 [Climax], I talked to a friend over there casually in Connecticut…he’s a name. Bronson Reed got the shit end of the stick with his positioning. He’s very good, he has the size, he had this awesome entrance with the background. I don’t know him at all personally. I don’t know if anything behind the scenes that happened, anything beyond that, but I can tell you there are people very interested in him because of his talent, his performance in the G1. He’s a name that people are interested in. I don’t know what his deal is, but he has come up as a name that I’ve heard.”
Jonah is currently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling and had a successful stint in IMPACT Wrestling before finishing up this past May.
