NXT star Zoey Stark recently shared an Instagram reel that featured a vintage image of herself as a young fan with Hall of Famer Edge. The NXT star looks unrecognizable in the photo. The Instagram reel also featured snippets from of some of Starks’ matches in NXT. Stark reflected back on her journey and acknowledged the fact that life is good and dreams do come true.

Zoey Stark is having a great run in WWE
The 28-year-old had started pro wrestling journey nearly a decade ago. She had competed for a few years on the independent circuit before signing with the Stamford-based company in January 2021. She has since become a regular competitor on NXT, where she once held the NXT Women’s Championships alongside IYO SKY (fka Io Shirai).
Though she has a picture with Edge, it seems she had a huge crush on Edge’s former rival, John Cena. In an interview with What’s NeXT in June 2021, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion revealed that she had a crush on 16-time World Champion John Cena.
“I had a little crush on him growing up. You know, I had the fat head on the wall, you can’t see me posters all over,” Stark said.
In a Q & A session on NXT’s official Twitter account, Zoey disclosed that Cena is still her favorite wrestler and that she regularly watches his matches.
During the October 18 episode of NXT Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter had a contract signing for the title match. Stark and Lyons defeated Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to become the #1 contenders.
