Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. His son-in-law Triple H is now the Executive Vice President of Talent and Relations as well. Vince McMahon also lied about quitting WWE recently.
In November 2005, Triple H and Val Venis faced each other in their only singles match on Monday Night RAW.
It ended in disqualification after Triple H hit him with a steel chair right on the head. Speaking to Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Venis revealed that Triple H’s chair shot was the hardest he had ever received and led to him forgetting his own name for a while.
“When I came around and he caught me with that chair, it was one of those things where I don’t remember anything when my eyes opened up for the first few seconds all I could see are lights, people, and a wrestling ring on one side of me. And I don’t know what my own name is. I don’t know why I’m there. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do for about what seemed like forever, but it was only about two-three seconds,
