Popular musician and WWE Hall of Famer Kid Rock had a meltdown over Anheuser-Busch’s decision to enlist trans activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney as a Bud Light brand influencer. The popular beer brand, Bud Light under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella has been taking serious heat ever since it collaborated with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney – a biological male.
Mulvaney, who seems to enjoy mocking womanhood with constant tired jokes about female stereotypes, was sent customized cans from Bud Light featuring her face to celebrate a year since claiming to now be a woman. The company later defended the decision, and Kid Rock had enough.
Howard Stern is unsure why Kid Rock wasn’t pleased with Bud Light partnering with Dylan Mulvaney. Rosie O’Donnell also opened up on the matter. Recently, Stephen Colbert also talked about the matter. Mike Tyson also shared his thoughts on the matter.
It has been noted that Kid Rock is still selling the beer at his Nashville, Tennessee, establishment. The online menu for his Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘N’ Roll Steakhouse includes Bud Light among its domestic beer list, joined by Bud Light Lime, Budweiser, Busch Light, Coors Light, Miller High Life and Miller Lite. Bud Light, Bud Light Lime and Budweiser are all under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella.
Previously, former Motley Crue vocalist John Corabi recently joined in for an interview with Blabbermouth. He has stated that he likes to stay in his lane and keeps himself away from controversial matters on social media.
John: “Yeah! That’s it. That’s the problem with everything anymore. I can’t even go online half the time and read comments — for example, this thing with Bud Light [where conservatives heavily criticized and boycotted the beer company for having a transgender spokesperson.] I’m sitting here and I’ve been asked about it and go, ‘No, man. I’m going to stay in my lane.’ People like Kid Rock are upset. It’s great. Be upset. I don’t understand what they’re upset about. It’s not like they’re putting gay hormones in the beer. Budweiser is exercising its right to branch out to another market. What’s the deal? It doesn’t affect you at a football game or wrestling match. Who cares?”
