According to Mediaite, in a holiday message posted on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump continued his tradition of using social media to criticize political and judicial figures. The post, shared at 2:03 a.m., targeted key figures involved in his New York fraud civil trial, including state Attorney General Letitia James, presiding Judge Arthur Engoron, and Chief Clerk Alison Greenfield.
Trump’s message accused James of incompetence, labeled Judge Engoron as a “Psycho” who criminally defrauded the state of New York, and accused Greenfield of being politically biased and corrupt. The former president alleged that the judge purposely undervalued his assets to convict him of fraud before the trial began.
“Happy Thanksgiving to ALL, including the Racist & Incompetent Attorney General of New York State, Letitia “Peekaboo” James, who has let Murder & Violent Crime FLOURISH, & Businesses FLEE; the Radical Left Trump Hating Judge, a “Psycho,” Arthur Engoron, who Criminally Defrauded the State of New York, & ME, by purposely Valuing my Assets at a “tiny” Fraction of what they are really worth in order to convict me of Fraud before even a Trial, or seeing any PROOF, & used his Politically Biased & Corrupt Campaign Finance Violator, Chief Clerk Alison Greenfield, to sit by his side on the “Bench” & tell him what to do,”
A gag order against Trump, preventing him from attacking the judge’s staff, including Greenfield, was temporarily paused, leading to recent attacks by the former president. However, court officials are pushing for the reinstatement of the gag order, citing threats received by Greenfield after her personal information was compromised. The pause on the gag order is scheduled to continue until at least Monday.
While Trump’s attention appears focused on the fraud case, he didn’t miss the opportunity to include his chief political rival in his Thanksgiving message. He wished “Crooked Joe Biden” a happy Thanksgiving and accused him of weaponizing the Department of Justice against political opponents, allowing the country to deteriorate.
In contrast, President Joe Biden delivered a more conventional Thanksgiving greeting during a call to NBC’s coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade shortly after 9 a.m. ET.
