The resurfacing of old flight logs has once again brought attention to the fact that former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were passengers on Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous private jet, known as the “Lolita Express.” These revelations come just before a much-anticipated release of court records expected to unveil hundreds of names connected to Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring.
The flight logs, originally made public in December 2021 during the trial of convicted madam Ghislaine Maxwell, revealed that Clinton and Trump were among the high-profile individuals who had traveled on Epstein’s plane. Clinton, who is also expected to be identified as “John Doe 36” in documents related to a 2015 lawsuit from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, was mentioned more than 50 times in connection to the flight records.
Notably, the logs do not indicate that either Trump or Clinton visited Epstein’s island in the Caribbean, which was known to be the hub of his international sex-trafficking activities.
Trump’s association with Epstein dates back to the 1990s, with records indicating at least seven trips on the private plane between 1993 and 1997, sometimes accompanied by family members. During this period, Trump and Epstein were known associates and were frequently seen together at formal events.
On the other hand, Clinton took at least nine trips on the jet, traveling to various destinations including Paris, Bangkok, and Brunei. He was photographed aboard the plane multiple times, and Epstein was a guest at the White House on at least 17 occasions during Clinton’s presidency. Despite these connections, Clinton has consistently denied any inappropriate involvement with the sex offender.
While the upcoming court records are expected to reveal 170 individuals previously known only as John and Jane Does with ties to Epstein, it is not anticipated that the documents will implicate Clinton or others in any illegal activities. The release is expected to shed light on various aspects of Epstein’s network, including accusers, alleged victims, individuals in his inner circle, and those who may have been involved in his criminal activities.
