Trump Jr. Posts Jill Biden ‘Meltdown’ Video

Donald Trump Jr. sarcastically commented on President Joe Biden’s abilities, stating, “Yea. It’s hard work trying to form a complete & coherent sentence or to find your way off a stage or walk up or down the stairs of AF1. We have seen Joe working hard attempting to do those things.”

The remark implies criticism of Biden’s communication skills and physical coordination, suggesting that Trump Jr. perceives these tasks as challenging for the President.

In a surprising turn of events, Hunter Biden’s attorney informed House Republican committee chairs on Friday that Biden would comply with subpoenas demanding his deposition if a new one were issued. This marks a reversal from Biden’s previous stance, where he insisted that any testimony be given in a public hearing.

The unexpected offer came two days after two House committees passed resolutions recommending finding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for defying previous subpoenas. Hunter Biden attended one of the panel hearings silently, facing GOP lawmakers seeking to depose him in an inquiry related to a potential impeachment of President Joe Biden.

A full House vote on the contempt resolutions was anticipated for the following week, but Hunter Biden’s newfound willingness to be deposed could alter that timeline. If found in contempt of Congress, the Department of Justice would consider whether to pursue charges against him for non-compliance with prior subpoenas.

In a letter to two House Republican committee chairmen, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Judiciary panel head Jim Jordan, Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, stated that the previous subpoenas were legally invalid. However, he expressed Hunter Biden’s willingness to comply with a new proper subpoena issued in light of the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

Lowell’s letter, spanning eight pages, also criticized the committee chairs for pursuing contempt resolutions despite Hunter Biden’s previous offer to testify publicly. Lowell argued that a public hearing would prevent potential distortions or mischaracterizations of Biden’s testimony by Republicans.

The committees chaired by Comer and Jordan did not immediately respond to requests for comments on Lowell’s letter. Lowell asserted that he wrote the letter to make the committee chairs aware that the previous subpoenas were legally invalid and could not serve as a basis for the contempt resolution.
