It was during a packed, energetic rally in Rock Hill, SC that former President Donald Trump responded to the political witch hunt against him.
Donald Trump said on the eve of South Carolina’s GOP presidential primary that his criminal indictments ― he faces 91 charges across multiple cases ― are boosting his appeal with Black voters.
Addressing the Black Conservative Federation’s Honors Gala on Friday evening, the former president brushed off the federal and state charges he faces over his efforts to overturn an election he lost and his handling of classified information, dismissing them yet again as politically motivated. He then went on to said:
“They indicted me on BULLSH*T!”

Trump also made this hilarious statement: “I’ve been indicted more than Alphonse Capone… If I fly over a blue state, the next day I get a Federal Grand Jury.”
President Trump made these remarks at a rally ahead of the South Carolina primary tomorrow.

Former President Trump is holding a rally Friday afternoon in South Carolina on the eve of the state’s closely watched Republican presidential primary.
The event is being held in Rock Hill, a suburb of Charlotte, N.C., giving Trump an opportunity to also gin up enthusiasm among his base in the Tarheel State, a possible swing state in November.

The Rock Hill event was attended by South Carolina’s governor as well as several members of the state’s congressional delegation, including Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who is the lone Black Republican in the Senate. Trump heaped praise on Scott, who dropped out of the 2024 GOP race last year and endorsed him.
