Lopez, who dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001, does not plan to publicly address the video or the accusations against him. A source told DailyMail.com that although Lopez is aware of and disappointed by Diddy’s actions, she feels it is not her story to tell and will not discuss it unless directly asked in a future interview.
The footage shows a shirtless Diddy, wrapped in a towel, chasing Cassie, grabbing her by the head, slamming her to the ground, kicking her, and then dragging her back to their room by her hoodie. On Sunday, Diddy posted a video apology, claiming he had turned to God for forgiveness.
Amid these developments, Lopez is also reportedly dealing with personal issues, including potential crisis talks about her tour and efforts to save her marriage to Ben Affleck. The source noted that seeing someone she once trusted behaving so violently is “disgusting” and “disturbing” for Lopez.
