AEW Star Quits During WWE Clash at the Castle?

Andrade cryptically tweeted ‘Out!’ during WWE Clash at the Castle, leading to speculation that he was quitting AEW for WWE.

Finn Balor is undoubtedly one of the top Superstars in NXT. After a mediocre run on the WWE main roster, Finn Balor went back to NXT in October of 2019 and has remained with the brand since then. He defended his NXT Championship against Karrion Kross on Night Two of NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver. However, he was unable to successfully retain his title and lost the match. Karrion Kross thus became the new NXT Champion. He made his return to Friday Night Smackdown last year. Finn Balor also broke character after loss to Roman Reigns.

Finn Balor lost his WWE Universal Championship match at WWE Extreme Rules as well. The ending to the match saw Finn Balor on the top rope about to hit his Coup De Gras but then the ring rope broke and he fell to the mat and then lost the match after Roman Reigns hit a spear.

He is now the leader of Judgment Day. In an interview with Alex McCarthy for Inside The Ropes, Balor was asked about The Good Brothers.

“Listen, I’m sure the opportunity for those guys to return to WWE will happen. They have all the talent in the world. They’ve proven themselves all over the world, in every promotion, at every level, and they can do it. So I’m sure once the time is right, they’ll be back.”
