The last time we saw the Authors of Pain was back in December in a Fatal-4-Way tag team match, which was won by The Revival. Since then, we’ve not seen Akam or Rezar on WWE television, and now we know why.
Dave Meltzer revealed in the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that Akam has been out with a leg injury. While it’s not known just how severe it is, Meltzer stated that it would be a few months before we see AOP again.
If this is the case, then it could be another reason why the WWE has decided to start letting Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder rack up some wins, as they’re essentially the next best heel team on the Raw roster.
