Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa recently underwent hip surgery. He has been away from programming since September 17 WWE live event when he faced Bobby Lashley. He was aligned with The Miz on WWE TV, helping him trying to escape the wrath of Dexter Lumis. However, he was abruptly taken off of the programming. Ciampa has shared an update on his situation and how he is already getting back in shape.

Ciampa took to Instagram to share a video of him working out in the gym. He can be seen lifting weights while being fully focused on his posture. The former NXT Champion said that he is rebuilding himself with the help of his friend, AJ Sims, who is also his coach.

Previously, Ciampa revealed a photo from the hospital bed as he said that he’s on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery on his hip labrum:
