Big Cass released by WWE

World Wrestling Entertainment announced earlier today that Big Cass has been released from the WWE Roster. Since returning from injury, there have been rumors of Cass having backstage heat for going off-script in a segment with Daniel Bryan, a reportedly worked injury, and a short one-way match at Backlash. All that said, it was thought Cass may be out of the dog house following a more competitive match with Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank this past Sunday, but this proved to be his final appearance for the company.

Cass was best known for being a duo with Enzo Amore, who also was released at the start of the year due to numerous controversies. The pair had been friends, but ceased speaking after Amore ripped Cass on social media for not completing their match when Cass tore his ACL in a freak accident.

We will post more on this when we have it.
