Former WWE Superstar ‘Big Show’ Paul Wight shocked the entire pro wrestling world after revealing that he signed with AEW back on February 24th of this year. It came as a shock as no one expected him to leave WWE for AEW, many considering him as a WWE-lifer. Jim Ross’ embarrassing Big Show botch was also leaked recently.
At the AEW All Out pay-per-view, Paul Wight faced off against QT Marshall in a one-sided beatdown as he made short work of the leader of The Factory. It seems the match was not even going to be featured on the card in the first place.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that the match was placed the way it was for a good reason as it could have been cancelled entirely if any matches lasted too long.
“So, can I tell the story about why this match was in this spot? Because they were afraid that all the matches would go long, and if they did this could be axed. So, that’s why it was put in this spot.”
We wonder who Paul Wight will be facing next in AEW now that he has easily defeated QT Marshall at AEW All Out.
