Bloodline Member Was Fired At WWE Show

Throughout WWE’s history, there have been a few harsh firings. One of the more brutal examples occurred when Paul Heyman was escorted out of the building after an altercation with Vince McMahon in 2006.

Matt Hardy discussed Heyman’s firing on his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, revealing that Heyman was escorted out of the building and off the property. According to Hardy, McMahon had received information that Heyman should not have been privy to, and the WWE office was upset with him.

”It was done pretty brutally. I just remember how he was just escorted out of the building and off the property. I hope I’m not mistaken, I wanna say like there was issue where Vince said that he had received some intel he shouldn’t have been receiving, and they didn’t know what he was doing with it. I know Vince and the office were very upset with him. He was escorted out of the property and fired.”

Despite this incident, Heyman remains a part of the company today, though his role is not primarily in creative. He has been heavily involved in The Bloodline storyline and is expected to continue to be an important piece in WWE’s puzzle for as long as he wants to be.
