Bobby Lashley’s WWE title ‘celebration’ segment was canceled on Raw by creative last night. Before Bobby Lashley became the WWE Champion, he was seen stuck in a love triangle storyline with ith former WWE Superstar Miro and his real-life wife Lana. The storyline ended last year as Miro got his ‘revenge’ on Lashley. Miro would leave WWE eventually and now calls AEW his home.
The storyline was disliked by the majority of fans who saw no sense in it whatsoever. Bobby Lashley recently spoke to The Wrap, where the WWE Champion talked about the love triangle storyline. During the conversation, he also revealed what Vince McMahon told him after Lashley was befuddled by the storyline pitched to him.
Vince McMahon apparently told Bobby Lashley go out there and have fun with the storyline.
“I was going into it and I was a little taken back. But then when I sat back and I actually realized, because I had a talk with Vince, and he told me, ‘Man, I want you to just go out there and have fun.’ And that was one thing that you have to do.”
Thankfully, Bobby Lashley received a great push after his storyline with Lana ended and he is now at the top of the company, being the WWE Champion.
