During tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, ring announcer Greg Hamilton billed a match that didn’t happen, ruining Bobby Lashley’s introduction. After the Hurt Business imploded during tonight’s episode WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP kicked Cedric Alexander and Sheldon Benjamin out of the popular group for good. This led to Shelton going to WWE official Adam Pearce and asking for two matches. A match where Benjamin would face Lashley during this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, while Cedric Alexander would face Lashley next week. Bobby Lashley recently reacted to ‘horrible’ Raw writing.
However, during the introduction for the Shelton Benjamin match against Bobby Lashley, Hamilton billed the contest as a ‘Two on One Handicapped match’, which ultimately wasn’t the case Cedric was out to accompany Benjamin to the ring in a suit.
In other news regarding the WWE Champion, fans recently took to social media via Twitter to react to the news of Bobby Lashley’s popular ‘Hurt Business’ stable imploding. @JTTakeover wrote: “I can’t believe they broke them up…. #WWERaw Raised fist Why brake up something that had potential to be a masterpiece of a stable. Typical WWE ruining something that’s good. We as fans can never get emotionally invested into something. Cause the boss decides stop it.” While @D_Evans1994 proclaimed: “First time i’ve watched RAW in months.. heard a lot about the Hurt Business, and was glad bobby got the belt. Now i watch and the break them up. no thanks WWE not going to watch until WrestleMania 37
