Booker T understands why Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE

Dean Ambrose is set to leave WWE after April. So he will be competing at Wrestlemania. WWE even addressed his departure by releasing a statement.

On his Heated Conversations podcast, Booker T discussed Dean Ambrose’s situation, where he talked about his own time in WWE. He told a story where he wanted to leave the company, but then Vince McMahon came up with the King Booker gimmick and hired Sharmell to convince the five-time World Champion to stay.

Booker could relate to Dean Ambrose’s situation, and not only did he understand Ambrose’s choice, but also commented on how he is leaving WWE at the best time.

“I tell you that this could be the best job in the world being a WWE Superstar, but it can be the hardest job in the world at the same time. So I say, Dean Ambrose if it’s for you to take a step back… you know, and let me tell you something he’s doing it at the best time too.”

“Let me make that clear that Dean Ambrose would be stepping away at the best time that he possibly could after WrestleMania cause that’s a big check. Let’s get that insurance money, you know what I mean? Let’s get that insurance money and go home for a little while, rejuvenate the batteries, come back you know, better, stronger, faster.”

We will have to wait and see what Dean Ambrose does once he leaves WWE. Perhaps he’ll sign with AEW, or maybe hung up his boots.
