Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman was previously released from the company due to budget cuts. It happened while he was working under Vince McMahon. However, following Vince’s retirement, it was Triple H has been overseeing the creative side of WWE. ‘The Game’ has brought him back Monsters of All Monsters.
Braun Storwman talks about working with Vince McMahon
While speaking with the Toronto Sun, Strowman talked about working under Vince McMahon and now Triple H. Strowman claimed that he always had a great time with McMahon in charge:
“I think it’s awesome. It’s always evolving. I always had a great time with Vince when he was in charge. He always led the steam for the motion of what WWE is. I have a great relationship with Steph and (Triple) H and they’re such amazing people and they have such a passion for the business and the industry.”
During the same interview, he also talked about his former rival Roman Reigns’ current run in WWE. He believes that he has made it clear that he is the one who will dethrone Reigns off the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. He said:
“Look at me and look at a lot of the guys that I get to step in the ring with. I wouldn’t want to have to fight me. Any opportunity I have to go out there and get that chance at winning, getting that opportunity at the title… I mean, let’s be real, it’s about time somebody takes those things off Roman Reigns’ hands. The monster just might have to be the guy to do it.”
